Superstar Super Show: WSG Connar Klock

Connar Klock (they/them) is a queer, Michigan rooted theatremaker, facilitator, and advocate whose work puts new plays, humanist values, and intersectional voices at the center. In fourteen years of theatre involvement, Connar has worked on over 60 shows, directed for 9 companies and 12 new play festivals. They currently serve as the Artistic Director of Queer Theatre Kalamazoo, as the Drop-In Center Facilitator at Kalamazoo’s LGBTQIA+ resource center OutFront Kalamazoo, on the Board of Directors for the Kalamazoo Nonprofit Advocacy Coalition, and on the play selection committees for Farmers Alley Theatre and WMU Theatre. They hold a BFA in Theatre Performance from Western Michigan University, where they currently serve as a Cultural Competency Consultant in the School of Theatre and Dance.
