The KIA turns 100 years old on July 2! Join us as we continue to celebrate the KIA’s centennial year. Free general admission on July 13, 2024.

11:00 am to 5:00pm: Explore the Museum
Learn more about the KIA’s art collection with a self-guided gallery guide.

11:15 am: Art Detectives
Read-aloud of While You’re Asleep by Emmy Kastner followed by self-directed Make & Take birthday activities.

11:30 am to 3:00 pm: Silent Family Book Club
Families can borrow children’s books from the Meader Fine Arts Library to read together around the museum. Books borrowed by non-KIA members for Silent Book Club MUST be returned by 3:00pm on July 13.

11:30 am to 4:00 pm: Activities
Make & Take birthday hats and commemorative 100th-anniversary glasses. Sign a community birthday card for the KIA.
