November’s Gallery Gathering will focus on Steven MacGowan’s Choice, No Choice and Tim Lowly’s Beacon (Bless the Bastard), paired in conversation with one another in Legendary Voices: Art for the Next Century. Very different in style and medium, both works serve as reflections of the artists’ experiences as fathers of children who battled serious illnesses. Join us for an exploration of these two richly symbolic and deeply-felt meditations on love and loss.

Gallery Gatherings are short, lightly-moderated conversations about selected artworks from ongoing exhibitions. Chairs and gallery stools are available for guests. This program is free with the cost of gallery admission, but preregistration is encouraged
