The band of young adults brings high energy dance music including original songs and covers from bands including hers, the smashing pumpkins, Weezer, The Cure, and much more. Payton&Annabelle are a dynamic duo blending folk and alternative genres, characterized by rich harmonies and intricate acoustic guitar arrangements. Their musical partnership blossomed at The Kalamazoo Academy of Rock band program in 2021, where a shared love for artists like Simon&Garfunkel and The Beatles ignited their creative spark. The pair released their debut album “for the willows” in March of 2023, featuring their award winning song “projection”.
