Shoppers line the streets of Downtown Kalamazoo for Small Business Saturday

Kalamazoo small business owners said the COVID-19 pandemic has hit them hard and its important now more than ever to support local businesses.

According to the Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership, for every $100 spent at a local business, $68 stays in the Kalamazoo community.

Local business owners called Small Business Saturday a success.
