The Kalamazoo City Commission approved an amendment Monday allowing alcohol sold from a business in the newly created social district to be consumed in Bronson Park.

The vote was unanimous, and applies to drinks purchased from licensed businesses in the Central Commons Refreshment Area launched in September.
