Art Detectives: The Dot

Let creativity swirl around you! Join the Art Detectives as we read The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, and look at the vibrant art of Linling Liu: Musical Meditations. At this extra special Art Detectives, we’ll be joined by Marisa Bianan from Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers and she will lead you through a dotty, swirling, joyful movement activity; and of course, we’ll create our own vivid artworks to take home.

Originally from Kenosah, Wisconsin, Marisa Bianan obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Western Michigan University in April 2018. Through her studies, Marisa worked with several choreographers including Jeremy Blair, Monique Haley, Carolyn Pavlik, and Brendan Duggan. She performed with the Western Dance Project from 2016-2016 under the direction of Whitney Moncrief. Marisa joined Wellspring/Cori Terry & Dancers in 2018 and has performed and choreographed multiple works for the company.
