Kalamazoo Downtown Dollars a popular gift, bringing $150K to local economy this holiday season

In just 20 minutes Kalamazoo’s “Twice as Nice” flash sale on Downtown Dollars sold out, said Andrew Haan, President of The Kalamazoo Downtown Partnership.

The Downtown Dollars initiative has brought in almost $150,000 in the last few months, Haan said. That amount includes customer purchases and the dollar-for-dollar match by Consumers Energy.
