Injury Prevention + Wellness Workshop
Young Dancers Initiative is excited to be hosting an Injury Prevention Workshop for dancers on June 25th at 10:00 am EST. This event will be conducted virtually.

This one-day-only virtual workshop is open to the public and teaches dancers and athletes vital information to remain healthy and happy. Now more than ever, our health is extremely important and this is a chance to learn more about how to keep you feeling your best both physically and mentally!
The instructor for this workshop will be Camille Chimner who grew up in southwest Michigan dancing and performing both in the musical theater community and the dance community. She has been in 20+ productions over the past 15 years. She attended Ball State University where she combined her passion for health and dance and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2020. While at Ball State she was involved with the dance department and had the opportunity to work with a lot of amazing staff and guest staff including Sutton Foster, Sidra Bell, Kenny Shepherd, and many more. She returned to Michigan after graduating and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Western Michigan University while continuing to teach dance. She is excited to share her knowledge with YDI to promote strong, healthy dancers!
