DESCRIPTION:The party doesn’t stop after Gilmore Festival concerts end! Throughout this year’s Festival\, keep the music going long into the night with Gilmore After Dark events at venues around Kalamazoo. Grab a drink or bite to eat and enjoy performances by exciting jazz and classical artists\, including pianist\, vocalist\, and songwriter Bob Mervak. \nMervak has been an active member of the Detroit music scene for nearly three decades. His unique style encompasses pop and jazz\, rootsy indy original songs and Ben Folds-esque intelligent\, introspective\, and unapologetic compositions. Bob has been a session musician\, writer\, and arranger on many varied record releases over the years.
