Santa’s Workshop, presented by Kalamazoo Candle Company, has moved one block south to the Epic Center, 359 S Kalamazoo Mall. Filled with animation, and toys to play with, kids can make their own arts and crafts and write a letter to Santa. Santa’s Workshop is free and provides the perfect backdrop for taking pictures and videos – individuals are encouraged to bring their own cameras and video recorders and click to your heart’s content. Register to be a volunteer: 2017 Holiday Workshop Volunteers

Holly Jolly Trolley:
The Holly Jolly Trolley travels around downtown Kalamazoo to provide people with easy access to parking lots, stores, restaurants, and more. Bring your friends and family and ride in the heated comfort of an old-style trolley. The ride is free! View the Holly Jolly Trolley route here

Holiday Parade:

The Kalamazoo Holiday Parade has been the City of Kalamazoo's official welcome to the Holiday season since 1961. The parade features nearly 100 units that represent the community businesses, organizaitons, area high school marching bands and more! After the parade there will be activities on the Kalamazoo Mall until 2pm.

Tree Lighting Ceremony:

The City of Kalamazoo’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will again be held at Bronson Park, the heart of Kalamazoo. The Mayor, City Commissioners, City Manager and Santa will all be on hand to read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’, light Kalamazoo’s Christmas trees, and kickoff what is sure to be another great holiday season!

New Year's Fest:

New Year's Fest is an all ages showcase of performing arts that takes place New Year's Eve in downtown Kalamazoo. There are a variety of activities that take place including music, magic, comedy, exhibitions, fireworks, and great food! New Year's Fest's vision is to be a premier event that introduces the greater Kalamazoo community to the performing arts by providing an array of quality, unique artists and activities. Special events that night will include live entertainment, downtown hayrides, and of course, the lighted ball drop! The admission to New Year's Fest is $5 and buttons are required for entry to the various sites within Bronson Park.
